Emin Saruhanlı, an authoritarian father devoted to family values, learns that he is the sole heir to a considerable fortune as a result of the loss of one of his close relatives. When the Saruhanlı family moves to Istanbul, leaving behind their modest life in the town, Emin faces an uphill struggle to keep his family together.
