The film tells the story of Wade Wilson, known for his witty and sarcastic sense of humor. Wade is a former special forces soldier and mercenary. However, his life and happy days with Vanessa, the woman he loves, are turned upside down when he is diagnosed with advanced cancer.
Seeking various ways to be cured, Wade eventually joins Weapon X, a secret program. This program is an organization that conducts experiments to impart mutant powers. Wade is put through a series of experiments that can cure his cancer and give him superpowers. But Weapon X's goal is to use Wade like a slave rather than make him a successful mutant on a humanoid experience.

The movie is full of action, humor and dark humor from anti-heroes and offers a different and fun genre in the Marvel cinematic universe.
