The Conjuring is a 2013 horror film directed by James Wan. The movie is based on the stories of famous real-life paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren. Ed and Lorraine Warren are known for researching and documenting many famous paranormal phenomena in the 20th century.

The film takes place in 1971 in Rhode Island, USA and centers around the Perron family. The Perron family consists of Roger and Carolyn Perron couple and their five daughters. The family moves into a sprawling old farmhouse, but strange things soon begin to happen.

The supernatural events at home increase and the family desperately seeks help. At this point, Ed and Lorraine Warren come into play. The Warrens are a couple who investigate the paranormal and specialize in exorcism. By examining the family and home, this couple believes they are being targeted by a real supernatural being.

The Fear Session offers glimpses of the Warrens' past and their own supernatural struggles, along with the horrific experiences of the Perron family. Throughout the film, he presents a terrifying and suspenseful atmosphere with suspense-filled scenes filled with dark beings, ghosts and evil spirits.
