In a future where the world is flooded, the human race continues its struggle for survival in ramshackle boats and temporary, non-resident cities. Only a few people persistently continue to live in a mythical region called ”Dryland". Looking for the whereabouts of this mysterious region, the evil Deacon (Dennnis Hopper) attacks the city where young Enola and her mother Helen live.
